Shockwave Therapy
Precision pulses. Faster recovery.
No downtime · Drug-free · 3–6 sessions typical
We’ve added extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) alongside our acupuncture care — a non-invasive way to jump-start healing in stubborn tendons, joints, and chronic pain points.
Why We Added It
Acupuncture works with the body’s own regulatory systems to ease pain and restore circulation. Shockwave therapy adds a mechanical trigger — focused acoustic pulses that stimulate blood vessel growth, break up calcified buildup, and reactivate stalled healing in tissue that hasn’t responded to rest alone.
Together, they target the same goal from two directions: one calms the nervous system’s response to pain, the other kickstarts tissue regeneration at the source.
Most people feel a deep, tapping pressure during treatment and mild soreness for a day or two after — no needles, no incisions, no sedation.

Conditions We Treat
Shockwave therapy is best suited to chronic, localized pain — especially where the body’s repair process has plateaued.
Plantar Fasciitis
Chronic heel and arch pain, especially morning stiffness.
Tennis / Golfer’s Elbow
Persistent tendon pain from repetitive grip and forearm strain.
Achilles Tendinopathy
Thickened, painful Achilles tendon that flares with activity.
Calcific Shoulder Tendinitis
Calcium deposits in the rotator cuff limiting range of motion.
Chronic Muscle Tension
Deep, stubborn knots and trigger points that manual work hasn’t released.
IT Band & Knee Pain
Overuse pain along the knee and outer thigh from training load.
What to Expect
Every plan starts with an assessment — shockwave isn’t a fit for every case, and we’ll tell you honestly if it isn’t.
1. Assess
We review your pain history, movement, and prior treatment to confirm shockwave is the right tool — and map it against your acupuncture plan.
2. Treat
Focused pulses are applied directly to the affected tissue for 10–15 minutes. Most people return to normal activity the same day.
3. Recover
We space sessions 5–10 days apart, tracking pain and mobility, and adjust your acupuncture visits to support tissue repair between rounds.
Ready to break the cycle? Book a first assessment and we’ll tell you honestly whether shockwave, acupuncture, or a combination is the right path for your pain.
